BARRE - A graveside service, with military honors, was held for David Leslie Blodgett, 65, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, in the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center. He died May 14, 2013, in Barre.

Lt. Col. Calvin Kemp, Air National Guard chaplain from Camp Johnson in Colchester, led the service.

The National Guard military funeral honors detachment, also from Camp Johnson, presented the folded American flag to a son, Aaron Blodgett. The firing squad was provided by members of American Legion Post 9 of Randolph.

A reception followed at the Randolph Senior Center in Randolph.

The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St. in Barre, was in charge of arrangements.
