BARRE - The funeral service and celebration of the life of Faith E. "Judy" DeForge, 88, of the North Barre Manor, was held on Friday, January 3, 2014, at 1 p.m. in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre. She passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013, at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.

The Rev. Leopold Bilodeau, pastor of St. Monica Church in Barre, officiated and accompanied the congregation in the pre-recorded hymns "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art."
Words of remembrance were offered by daughter and son-in-law Patsy and Robert Quimby, daughter Virginia Mears, grandson Richard Quimby, nieces Sara Young and Tami St. Marie, who also did the Scripture readings, and several others in attendance.
Entombment took place in the Hooker and Whitcomb vault in Barre to await later burial in St. Sylvester Cemetery in Websterville.
