BARRE - The graveside and committal service for Louis Frattini Jr., a longtime Barre resident and businessman, was held Friday, March 28, 2014, at 10 a.m. in the Hope Cemetery. He died March 22, 2014, at his home in Lincoln House, where he and his wife, Barbara, had resided since January of this year.
The Guest Book is expired.
The Rev. Kim Kie, pastor of the Hedding United Methodist Church of Barre, led the service. Words of remembrance were offered by his son, William L. Frattini, who also read a tribute to his father in Italian, as Louis was extremely proud of his heritage as an Italian boy from Barre's North End.
The folded American flag to honor his Army service during World War II was presented to his wife, Barbara L. Frattini, by longtime friend Bruce W. Judd.
The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre, was in charge of the arrangements.
