MONTPELIER - Robert Earl Annis, 73, of Amenia, N.Y., died Feb. 6, 2013, at Sharon (Conn.) Hospital.

He was born June 2, 1939, the son of Evelyn C. (Martin) and William A. Annis, in Montpelier and attended Waterbury schools.
He was a self-employed bovine chiropodist for Amenia dairy farms for over 30 years.
He also served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include two children, William, of Madison, Wis., and Jennifer, of LaCrosse, Wis.; and four siblings, Louise, Lorraine, Avis Spicer, all of Rutland, and Dan, of Pensacola, Fla.
He was predeceased by three siblings, Nina, William and Alfred.
There will be no calling hours. Burial will be at a later date in Plainfield Cemetery.
