Anna Corsentino Obituary
Anna Lee Corsentino passed away July 8, 2013 at her home at the age of 82. Anna was born in Elizabeth, Colorado to Myrn and Eva Wight (nee Brewer). Anna grew up on a ranch, attended and graduated from Elizabeth HS in 1948. Prior to marrying, Anna worked as a telephone operator. On June 25, 1951, Anna married Leonard Sam Corsentino in Brighton, Colorado. On April 7, 1953, in Brighton, Anna gave birth to a daughter, Myrna Lynn Corsentino. The family lived and farmed in Brighton until they moved to Longmont, Colorado in 1964. Anna and Leonard purchased and developed Grand Meadow Mobile Home park Longmont and have continued to reside in Longmont ever since. Anna was a devoted mother and farmwife, who loved taking care of her home. Anna enjoyed visiting casinos, especially Las Vegas. Anna was a huge Denver Broncos fan and never missed watching a game. Anna also enjoyed watching birds from her kitchen window and caring for her flowers. Anna is survived by her husband, Leonard of Longmont, her daughter, Myrna Corsentino of Lakewood, Colorado, her sister Idella Cummings of Castle Rock, Colorado and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation with Anna will be on Monday, July 15th commencing at 10:00 am until 11:00 am with a funeral service to follow immediately at 11:00 am at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont, Colorado. Internment will be after the service at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery, with a reception to follow at the Elks Lodge in downtown Longmont. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made in Anna's name to the National Geographic Society or American Lung Association in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
