Calvin L. Bolz, 71, of Longmont, passed away November 14th, 2012. He was born in Chicago to the late Leroy Bolz and Lillian Wattling Bolz, on July 5th 1941. He graduated from Chicago Vocational High School in 1959 and proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1960-1963. He chose a career as a police officer for the city of Oak Lawn, IL, which spanned 25 years, and retired in 1990. He moved to Colorado in the mid 90's. He is survived by children Calvin L. Bolz Jr, of Frankfort, IL Tracy Bolz-Rovak of Longmont, Jodi Thoms & husband Ray Thoms, of Joliet, IL Grandchildren Josh Bolz of Frankfort, IL Skye & Sahiyela Rovak of Longmont, Dakota, Hunter & Autumn Thoms, of Joliet, IL Brother, Lloyd Bolz of Decorah, IA Corrine Bolz, of Mason City, IA widow of his late brother Phil L. Bolz & Nieces & Nephew Anna Bolz, Christine Hanf, Danny Bolz and their families. There will be a Celebration of life at the VFW 206 S Main St Longmont on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 1-4 pm.
