Jerry Lewis Reynolds was born on August 17th, 1932 to Charles W. Reynolds and Elizabeth H. Reynolds (Knaus) in Evansville, IN. Jerry was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout, receiving the rank of Eagle in 1946. Jerry graduated from Reitz High School in 1950. Jerry received a BA in Physics from Evansville College in 1954. He married Loretta J. Watkins, May 21st, 1955. Shortly after his marriage, Jerry served in the US Army for two years. He went to Purdue University, earning a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering. Jerry worked for IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY and Boulder, CO from 1960 until he retired in 1991. Jerry served many years as Elder at City on the Hill Church, an Elmer for BARC Jr Ham Radio Club, and a merit badge counselor for the Berthoud Boy Scouts. Jerry was married to Loretta until her death in 2000, and married Clariece Goolsby in 2001. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Loretta. He is survived by his wife, Clariece Reynolds; son Mark Reynolds (Kathleen Cummings) of Louisville, CO, daughter Deborah (Dirk) Mewes of Berthoud, CO. and step-children Kelli (Oscar) Rivera of Guatemala City, Guatemala, Tonya (Brian) Hermann of Rockford, IA, and James Frey of Parkersburg, IA and 14 grandchildren.
