DARIMONT, George Lucien After 95 years of good health and many outstanding accomplishments, George passed away peacefully in his 99th year on Nov 17, 2012. Predeceased by his parents Sophie and Ferdinand, also the mother of his children Betty (2009). Survived by his beloved wife Lissi, and his daughters Michelle Low (Bill), Taylore Sinclaire (Colin), Suzanne McCleery (Mike), son Paul Darimont (Gail), and by stepsons Kim Bentzon (Terry), Erik Bentzon (Mary Ann). He was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. After serving in the army medical core in WW2, he practised optometry in Victoria for more than 40 years. He was a man of enormous creative energies and achievements. He excelled in his profession and also in the arts, engineering, architecture, music and woodworking. He will never be forgotten and will always be missed. Many thanks for the outstanding skill and compassion of the staff at Mt Edwards care home during the more than 2 years he resided there. There will no service by request.
