Passed away in New Westminster, B.C. after a long illness. Daryl was predeceased by his sons Fred and Daryl Jr. and brother Lloyd (Jean). He is survived by brothers Gerald (Jerry) Richards (Frances) and Jim Yousph (Ethel); his daughter Darlene (Andy), son Allan (Carolynn); and grandchildren Justin, Lorence, Molly, Lucas and Janelle. Daryl was generous, fun loving and blessed with a wonderful sense of humour. He always had a welcoming smile and a helping

hand. After growing up in Calgary, Daryl served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 20 years, rising to the rank of Chief Petty Officer. His service in the Navy included seeing action during the Korean War aboard the famous HMCS Crusader. Daryl was active in several organizations including the Royal Canadian Legion, the Britannia Masonic Lodge and the Chief and Petty Officers Association.

A private service will be held at God's Acre Veteran's Cemetery in Esquimalt, B.C. Daryl's family would like to thank the staff of the Fraser Home Health Care Unit and his good friend Ellie for their support during his final days.
