June 19, 1933 - March 2, 2014

Jack R. Tomczak, 80, passed away Sunday at his home in Benicia following a brief illness. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and has lived in Benicia the past 44 years. Jack worked in Customer Service for General Motors Corporation for over 30 years.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy in the early 50's.

For the last eight years Jack showed his classic 1949 GMC pickup at numerous car shows across the country. The truck's name was "Ol Red 49".

Jack is survived by his daughters, Michelle, Suzanne and Stephanie; sons, Brian, Craig and Dana; sister, Elizabeth; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and his dear friends Tom and Barbara Colmer.
