Percy R. Lampley, longtime resident of Vallejo, passed away peacefully at home and is now in Heaven with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Percy served with General Patton in France and received a Bronze Star for bravery. He worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard, becoming a journeyman helper in Shop 17 and became the man on spinning for 30 years. He took pride in learning every machine and made many useful items.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Louise; two daughters; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters.

Memorial services and inurnment will be private.
