Rodney L. Hartline
age 52, of 270 Liberty Street, Leesville, Ohio, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 26, 2014 in Aultman Hospital at Canton, Ohio after a sudden illness. He was employed as a truck maintenance man for Young Truck Sales in Canton. He was born July 28, 1961 in Dennison, Ohio and was the son of Orrville Hartline of Leesville and the late Doris Weir Hartline. Also surviving is his step- mother Pat Hartline.
He was a proud seven-year veteran of the U.S. Army. Rodney was fond of spending time on his pontoon boat on Leesville Lake. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Overall his favorite activity was enjoying visits with his friends and his family.
In addition to his father and step-mother, he is survived by his wife, Lisa M. Baggott Hartline, whom he married July 27, 1997; two sons and two daughters, Jerimiah (Brittany) Hartline of New Cumberland, Ohio and Alek Fithen of Leesville, Hayley Hartline of Ragersville, Ohio and Kayla Hartline of Kalamazoo, Michigan; two step-sons, Stephen (Vikki) Winter of Sherrodsville, Ohio, and Nate Fithen of Leesville; his three grandchildren, Rylee Heter of Ragersville, Lincoln Hartline of New Cumberland, and Kohlson Hartline of Ragersville, and two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Steve (Teresa) Dayton, Sherri Hartline, and Ron (Dana) Hartline, all of Leesville.
Graveside services and a family celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Interment of his ashes in the Leesville Cemetery will take place at that time.
