Wendell E. Ahle
68, of Newcomerstown, Ohio died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Riverside Manor Nursing & Rehab. Center. He was born March 7, 1946 in Newcomerstown to the late Earl and Esther (Duncan) Ahle. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He retired from GE of Coshocton in 2001 after 34 years of service. He was a member of St. Francis DeSales Church, Newcomerstown, American Legion Thomas C. Montgomery Post 431 of Newcomerstown and he enjoyed fishing.
On June 30, 1973, he married Mary (Miller) Ahle, who survives. He is also survived by two children, Kelly Ranee (Ahle) Campbell and Kevin James (Chelestina) Ahle all of Newcomerstown; six grandchildren, Traike, Patrick, Duane, Makenzie, Lauren. and Maxx; sister, Pat Smith of Newcomerstown; two sisters-in-law, Theresa Harper and Pat Rexroad both of Newcomerstown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, James Earl Ahle; grandson, Mason Lee Durbin; and sister, Eleanor Kelly.
Services will be Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 4 p.m. at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown with Rev. Charles Mills officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service.
