McCormick, Andrew Stanton Jr. BURNT HILLS Andrew Stanton McCormick Jr., 87, of Forest Road, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Ellis Hospital after a short illness. Mr. McCor-mick was born in Schenec-tady to the late Andrew S. and Alice Rice McCormick. He was a graduate of CBA in Albany and the University of Denver. He was an Army-Air Corps veteran, serving as a pilot during World War II. Mr. McCormick owned and operated the Scotia Agency, Inc., an insurance agency, for more than 30 years. He was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville and a member of the former Condor Flyers. Mr. McCormick was predeceased by his son, Gerald "Jed" McCormick. He is survived by his wife, Joyce McCormick; five children, Kathleen (Timothy) Lederach of Niskayuna, Andrew Paul McCormick of Burnt Hills, Andrea (Richard) Langford, Colonie, Joan (James) Visker of Manlius, and Megan McCormick of Schuylerville; three grandchildren, Andrew Ryan McCormick of Schenectady, James Andrew Visker and Caitlin Visker, both of Philadelphia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated Monday, January 28, 2013 at 9 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glenville. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul society.
