Parkinson, Beth Ann ALBANY Beth Ann Parkinson, 57, of Albany entered into eternal rest on June 15, 2013. Beth was born in Ithaca to Kenneth and Mary Parkinson on June 20, 1955. Beth lived most of her life with her parents in Ithaca and Florida and in her later years moved into her home at Camp Terrace in Albany. Beth Ann could light up the room with her smile, she had a real love for life and a great sense of humor. Whether she was working on her lite-bright, coupons, puzzles or coloring books she was always having a great time. Beth loved being active. She was a great dancer, bowler and swimmer. She earned many honors through her participation in the Special Olympics. Beth lived a full and extraordinary life. Beth is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Parkinson of East Greenbush; sister, Martha (Larry) of Rensselaer; nieces, Lauren and Marissa and nephew, Michael. Predeceased by brother, Michael R Parkinson. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the wonderful people who have cared for Beth over the years most recently her family at Camp Terrace. Friends and family are invited for a celebration of Beth's life held at W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, Rensselaer, on June 20, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions on behalf of Beth to the Center for Disabled, 314 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
