Cunningham, Charles E. EAST GREENBUSH Charles E. "Chuck" Cunningham, Jr., 72, of East Greenbush died Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Evergreen Commons. He was born in Rhinebeck, the son of the late Charles E. and the late Eva A. (Nichols) Cunningham. He was an insurance agent for Allstate in East Green-bush for 34 years, retiring in 2000. Charles was a Navy Veteran and served with the Nassau and Schodack Police Departments during the 1990's. He was a member of the Melvin Roads American Legion and a former member of the Rensselaer Elks. Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Hogle Cunningham; son, Daniel M. Cunningham of Loudonville and daughter, Tina M. Walsh of Indiana; stepsons, Joseph Cunningham of Rensselaer and Corey Shoemaker of Albany; a brother, Stephen Cunningham of Portland, Ore. and a sister, Jeanne Cunningham of Chatham. Chuck is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grand-children. Friends are invited to his calling hours Thursday, October 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer.
