Crucetti, Dorothy EAST GREENBUSH Dorothy M Crucetti, 99, of East Greenbush, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Van Rensselaer Manor. Dorothy was born in Albany, the daughter of the late William and Louise Mac Dougall. Dorothy worked at Huyck Mill for 10 years before starting her family and also worked at Fortin's Pharmacy, ultimately retiring in 1973 from the purchasing department at Albany Medical College after seven years. Predeceased by her two husbands, Rudolph Fischer and Bruno Crucetti; her siblings, Rose E. Ewing, Anna Mae Wicks, William Mac Dougall and a grandson, Matthew Carl. Dorothy is survived by her children, Barbara (Michael) Santore, Judith (Herbert) Carl and James (Maureen) Crucetti, MD. Dorothy is the loving grandmother to Tracy (Brian) Goodman, Jeffrey (Kelly) Santore, Heather (Alex Silverstein) Carl, Anna Crucetti, Megan Crucetti; great-grandmother to Jacob Goodman, Michael Evan Santore, Madeline Santore, Brooke Van Dyke and Hailey Columbus and beloved aunt to Betty Bruso and Eleanor Charpentier; also predeceased by four days by her best friend of over 60 years, Betty O'Brien. The family would like to thank all the staff at Van Rensselaer Manor B3 for their excellent care for the last six years. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery, Albany. Contributions may be made in her honor to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation 60 East 56th St., 8th floor, New York, NY 10022.
