Facteau, James Harvey SANDISFIELD, Mass. James Harvey Facteau, age 69 years, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013. He was born in Standish, and has lived in the Capital District for more than 40 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran who was honorably discharged with the rank of private first class. Jim was the owner of J & L Taxi and also worked for New York State OGS for 20 years. He was a longtime member of the Open Bible Baptist Church in Rensselaer. Jim loved cars, playing the guitar, NASCAR and was avid New York Mets fan. Son of Bertha McDonald Facteau of Lyon Mountain, and the late Bernard H. Facteau; father of Meredith Facteau (late Jeff) Bishop, Jamison (Jill) Facteau and Marisa Facteau; grandfather of Tyler and Kyleigh Bishop, Emily and Abigail Facteau, Francesca Below and John Kruk Jr.; nephew of Marie and Lawrence Rowell; cousin of Anna Mae, Christopher and Joey Rowell. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 10 a.m. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
