Watson, Kenneth A. ALBANY Kenneth A. Watson, 70, of Albany died Thursday, January 2, 2014 at home. Born in Buffalo, he was a Navy Veteran serving on the USS Intrepid. He later became a computer systems engineer for various companies including Arizona State University. He was predeceased by his father, James Watson and brother, William Watson. Ken is survived by his wife, Marcia (Schuyler) Watson; a son, Michael J. Watson; his mother, Patricia (Nickolson) Watson; siblings, Patricia Fox, Donna Walter, Thomas, Donald, and Paul Watson. He also had a granddaughter Natalie Watson and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service, 7 p.m. on Monday from Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer. Friends may attend his calling hour Monday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service. Entombment will be in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. The family has requested that that those who wish make memorial contributions in his name to the Community Hospice of Albany county 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205.
