CARROLL KENDRICK Obituary
KENDRICK Rev. Carroll U. Kendrick, PhD entered the presence of the Lord on December 6, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn, and is survived by his sons Bubba and Jon (Michele), granddaughters Callie, Megan (Dan), and Mary Beth, and great-grandsons Elias and Benjamin Carson. Dr. Kendrick served over 40 years in the ministry, pastoring three churches in the Jacksonville area: Neptune Baptist, First Baptist Orange Park, and Oak Harbor Baptist. He was a veteran of WW2 serving in the US Army. Dr. Kendrick received degrees from the University of Florida and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. A service celebrating Dr. Kendrick's life will be held on December 29 at 10:30 at CrossPointe Church, Fleming Island, FL. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Northeast Florida Community Hospice. Arrangements by Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, Fl 32073.
