Harold L. Pearman Obituary
PEARMAN Harold L. Pearman, age 91, passed away July 27, 2014. He was born in Chula, Georgia and last resided in Niceville, Florida. Harold served in the United States Army, 81st Field Artillery Battalion, and fought in the Battle of the Bulge during World War II. He attended Georgia Teachers College and received his Master's Degree in Education from University of Florida. Before retiring in 1985, he had an outstanding career for 37 years in the Duval County School System including principal of John Gorrie Junior High, Ribault Junior High, Arlington Junior High, Andrew Jackson High School, and Englewood High School. Harold also served as president of the Western Gateway Conference. Mr. Pearman is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne, and is survived by his son, Hal Jr., sister-in-law, Dianne Stasco, five nieces and nephews: Gary Stasco, Gigi Wonderly (Scott), Michelle Stewart (Dennis), Tobi Stasco, Lisa McAnulty (Steve), and eleven great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Friday, August 1st, at First Baptist Church Orange Park, 1140 Kingsley Avenue Orange Park, Florida 32073.
