James Joseph (Butch/Ike) Eichholz Jr. Obituary
EICHHOLZ James Joseph Eichholz, Jr. (Butch/Ike) passed away January 4, 2014. He was born August 28, 1948 in Dayton, KY to James, Sr. and Frances Arnold Eichholz. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps, and was a Vietnam War veteran. He retired from NADEP at NAS Jacksonville following many years of service. Mr. Eichholz was predeceased by his parents and his sister Barbara Pasanen. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Kay Price Eichholz; his sons Eric Eichholz (Cassie) and Sean J. Eichholz; grandchildren Alexander and Emma Eichholz, all of Middleburg, FL; He is also survived by six sisters Jeri Hurtt, Ginny Simanski, Bonnie Peebles (Gary), Chery Rumfelt, Donna Clifton (Lee), Patty Graham (Scott); also brothers Jack Fox (Mary Jane), and Bill Eichholz (Cheryl); sister in law Linda Williams; brothers in law Wayne Pasanen and Jack Williams; numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass in celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday January 10, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 7190 Hwy. 17, Fleming Island, FL 32003. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service, from 9:00 until 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org Services are under the direction of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, Orange Park, FL.
