Kenneth Levy Bolt Obituary
BOLT Kenneth Levy Bolt, 79, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014. Mr. Bolt was a native of Hillsville, Virginia and longtime resident of Jacksonville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He owned and operated his paint and body shop for 30 years. Mr. Bolt was an active member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church for over 40 years and was a devoted family man. He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez P. Bolt; daughter, Tracy B. Lott and son, Rev. Dale Watson. Survivors include his two daughters, Susan DeVoe (Kevin) and Regina Smith; his longtime companion, Mary Louise Jones, and her children, Trish Clayton, Kathy Creach, John Jones, Ben Hall, Buddy Hall and Bubba Hall; one sister, Patsy Cockerham of Chapel Hill NC; three brothers, James Bolt of Richmond, VA, Terry Bolt of Galax, VA and Leslie Bolt of Lexington, VA; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, other loving family and dear friends. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 8, in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Avenue, with Pastor Dave Malmberg officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be held at a later date at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
