Obituary Condolences

TUBBS Linda Sue Tubbs passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 25, 2013. Linda, the daughter of the late James and Kathleen Christopher, was born on April 27, 1955 in Hickory, NC. She graduated from Hildebran High School and earned a BSN from Western Carolina University and a MSN from the University of Phoenix. She had over 36 years of nursing experience, most recently holding the position of Associate Professor at Chamberlain School of Nursing. Linda competed in pageants and previously held the title of Miss Hildebran and Miss Hickory, NC. She was a member of the choir at High Point Community Church in Orange Park, FL, and enjoyed music, cooking, quilting and being a grandmother. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Martin Tubbs; sons, Stephen (Leann) and Justin (Amber) Page; grandchildren, Kora Page and Luke Tuder; sister, Rebecca Christopher; and step-children, Curtis and Brandi Tubbs, Missy Bius and Amy Henderson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at High Point Community Church, 84 Knight Boxx Road, Orange Park, FL 32065.
