Manuel Andrade-Pellon Obituary
ANDRADE Manuel Andrade-Pellon, 85, of Jacksonville Florida, passed away, on 12/20/13 after a long illness. He was born in Lima, Peru 12/29/1928. His parents were Consuelo Pellon Arana and Jose Carlos Andrade Del Valle. He was preceded in death by his sister Mercedes Andrade Pellon and his brother Jose G. Andrade Pellon. He served stateside in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He married Mercedes Sanchez in December 1954. He returned to stay in the U.S. in 1963. He was a resident of Massapequa NY. for 40 years. He retired after over 30 years of service with Swiss air Transport Ltd. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Jacksonville and previously St. Rose of Lima, Roman Catholic Church in Massapequa NY. He is survived by his beloved spouse Mercedes Andrade, his children, Manuel Andrade and Mercedes Andrade McLeod of Jacksonville, and his grandchildren, Teresa McLeod Cruz, Bryan McLeod and Kaitlyn McLeod and 2 great-grandsons Michael Cruz and James Happich. He also leaves behind an extended loving family in the U.S. and in Peru. Interment will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery with honors on 12/30/2013 at 10a.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Community Hospice of North East Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd.
