PAULINE MCLAUGHLIN Obituary
MCLAUGHLIN Mrs. Pauline Elizabeth Adkins McLaughlin passed away peacefully February 19, 2013. She was a native of Cincinnati, OH, where she received her early education. Furthering her education, she attended Purdue University. She served her country in the U.S. Army until being honorably discharged. Mrs. McLaughlin was employed with U.S. Small Business Administration as a Loan Officer, until retiring after rendering 30 years of dedicated service. She was a faithful member of Greater Grant Memorial A.M.E. Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel H. McLaughlin, Sr. and her parents, Charles Adkins and Mildred Adkins Green. Survivors include her children, Ms. Joanne M. Williams, Samuel H. McLaughlin (Sheila), Mrs. Lynne M. Davis (David), Joyce M. Gilmore (William) and Mrs. Carol M. Quiller (Timothy), 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandson, brother, Robert Adkins, 4 sisters-in-law and a number of other relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Greater Grant Memorial A.M.E. Church, Rev. Frederick D. Richardson, Jr., Pastor, with Presiding Elder James M. Proctor (Ret.), presiding and Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin, Pastor of The Potter's House International Ministries, officiating. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VIEWING. Interment will be in the Jacksonville National Cemetery on Monday. Friends are asked to assemble at the church under the direction of ALPHONSO WEST MORTUARY, INC., 4409 Soutel Dr. 904-766-9671.
