THOMAS HARRELL Obituary
HARRELL Funeral services for Thomas Wesley Harrell, 83, who passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2013, will be held Friday at 11 AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206, with Rev. Tim Rigdon officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday (Today) from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Harrell was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force and had retired from JEA after 22 years of service. He was a member of the North Jacksonville Baptist Church, Solomon Lodge #20 F & A.M., and was a 32 Degree Mason. He was also a member of the Millwrights Union. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Preceded in death by his parents the late, James and Thelma Harrell, and sister, Helen Clyde Watson. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Mary D. Rutland Harrell; 2 daughters, Mary Helen Ninky Harrell Snyder (Joseph), and Vicki Harrell Hereford; 2 sisters, Edyth Patricia Albritton (Paul) of Gainesville, FL, and Thea Claire Wells (Charlie); 4 grandsons, Thomas Joseph Snyder, Ethan Nathaniel Hereford , Justin Shawn Hereford, and Logan Matthew Hereford. Several nieces and nephews. Serving as Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Military Honors will be held from the graveside. Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com
