Dedicated to my husband with love. I miss you.
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be,
so He put his arms around you
and whispered,
"Come, live with me."
With tearful eyes, we watched you suffer
and saw you fading away.
Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A gentle heart stopped beating,
your hard working hands put to rest.
God will love you and keep you
until we meet again someday.
May God grant you eternal peace
and may your tender love
watch over us always.
Thank you, babydoll, for so many good years.

Without Eddie I simply wouldn't have had a big brother. Though my mother, Eddie's Aunt Charlotte, produced only one offspring (me), when I visited Eddie and his family (also dear) in Florida every summer, he always gave me the full treatment--that is, he spent hours teasing, tickling, and drowning me in whatever body of water was at hand. These are precious memories. There was simply no one else like him in my life!
