Alan J. Coventry, 86, currently of Whitehouse, OH, and a former Toledo resident, passed away Sunday March 3, 2013, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.

Alan was employed as a sheet metal worker for Local 33 for many years. He was a long and active member of the Robinson Locke Lodge F&AM. Alan was a private pilot for many years, and was a member of EAA Chapter 149 and 582. He was proud to have served with the United States Army during WWII.

He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia (Roger D.) Studyvin of Whitehouse, OH; grandchildren, Andrew C. (Kate) and Benjamin (Joanna) Klein; great-grandson, Chandler Klein; sister, Barbara Ann Harris of Las Vegas, and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Thursday March 7, 2013, from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m., where Funeral Services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m., Entombment with Military Honors will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. The Robinson Locke Lodge will conduct a service Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Those wishing to give memorials are asked to consider the Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
