Dale Cameron

Dale Cameron Cory, 89, of Toledo, died peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2013. He was born November 5, 1924, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Laura and Reno Cory. Dale was a WWII Veteran and proudly served our country overseas. He retired from Abbey Etna Machine Company after working there for many years. He was a long-time member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, River View Yacht Club, National Threshers Association, Conn Weissenberger American Legion Post 587, Robinson Locke Masonic Lodge and the Shrine. His greatest passion and life's true work was caring for his family.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Maxine. Survivors include his children, Janette (Alex) Martinez of Houston, Texas; Lee Cory of Weston, OH, Doug (Melinda) Cory of Republic, Ohio and Susann Eaton (daughter from a previous marriage); grandchildren, Jennifer, Alex, Cameron, Dalton, and Morgan; great-grandchildren, Ayden and Riley; brothers, Lyman, Tom and Kenyon.

Friends are invited to visit from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, (between Douglas and Secor Roads) where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
