James W. Lenahan, 95, passed away at home on

November 6, 2013, with his family by his side. Jim was born in Toledo, Ohio, on October 28, 1918, to James and Suzanne (Golupski) Lenahan. Jim spent his childhood in Toledo and Northern Michigan. Jim served in World War II for the U.S. Navy in the Pacific. He retired from Libbey Owens Ford, East Broadway Plant 8, in 1980.

His hobbies included playing pool at the VFW Post 2510 and Post 4906 with his fellow WWII Veterans. At one time, he collected old music and enjoyed recording his music on cassettes, giving to family and friends. Jim also enjoyed rock and gem collecting.

In recent years, Jim looked forward to going to the

Rossford Senior Center to have lunch and socialize with his friends.

Surviving are his wife of 72 years, Marian (LaCourse) Lenahan; son, Joe (Janet) Lenahan of Fruita, Colorado; daughter, Linda (John) Stachowicz of Rossford, Ohio. Preceded in death by his

parents, James and Suzanne Lenahan; sister, Florence Taylor; beloved daughter, Suzanne Strock. Jim has 8 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Avenue, Oregon, OH. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the start of the Memorial Service at 12 p.m. Interment will

immediately follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to Gentiva Hospice.
