Jerry Alliman, 81, passed away at home on September 9, 2013, with his loving wife of 55 years and oldest daughter by his side. He was a native of Toledo and lived there most of his life. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air force and served in the Korean War as a propeller specialist. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Sharon Manufacturing as a supervisor. He enjoyed jogging at Wildwood Metro Park which he did for 30 years. He also enjoyed collecting rocks from various quarries. Jerry especially cherished his family and together they created countless memories that will forever remain in their hearts.

He is survived by his loving wife and soul mate, Liz Alliman; children, Pamela Coale, Mike (Ednesia) Alliman, and Teresa McCormick; sister, Nancy (Harold) Hoffman, Susie (Walt) Myers, Sharon Alliman; 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to visit on Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 2 - 6 p.m. in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Ave. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the
