John Wallace III

John Wallace Ainslie III, age 24, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, April 19. He was born on November 29, 1988, in Toledo, OH. He was a graduate of Start High School. John was in the U.S. Army National Guard, having just completed 2 tours of duty as a Combat Medic in Iraq and Afghanistan. A wonderful husband, father and son, he liked to shoot pool and loved music, especially Dave Matthews Band. Always very mechanically inclined, he was a talented builder who could fix anything. John had a great laugh and smile, and loved to cook and entertain. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

John is survived by his wife, Marlena (Swanson) Ainslie; son, Brody John Wallace Ainslie; father, John Ainslie Jr.; mother, Jenni (Joe) Przeniczny; brothers, Tyler Ainslie, Joshua Ehlert, Jacob Przeniczny and Alex Ainslie; sisters, Sydney Przeniczny and Julia Ehlert; grandparents, John and Diana Ainslie, Clark and Paula Greene, Keith and Barb Russeau, and Richard and Yvonne Przeniczny; many aunts, uncles and cousins, and special friends, the Ice family.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday at 10 a.m. in Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd., followed by a procession to Regina Coeli Catholic Church for the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Members of the Ohio Army National Guard will conclude with Military Honors at the church.
