John M. Hudson, 71, of Walbridge, OH passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Swan Pointe Care Center. He was born July 17, 1942, to the late Fred and Margaret Hudson. He married Barb Murray Hudson on November 26, 1982, in Toledo, OH and she survives. John graduated from Waite High School and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Upon returning, he attended The University of Toledo. He retired from Sun Oil Co. in 1998. He was a member of the Zenobia Shrine and served as Commander of Legion of Honor and Hospital Director for the Road Runners. He was a Past Master of Yondota Masonic Lodge and Worthy Patron of Yondota Eastern Star. He was a member of the Scottish Rite and the Rossford Eagles and an active member of Rossford United Methodist Church. He enjoyed reading, music and travel.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Barbara, are his brother, Bud (Judy) Young of Florida; sister, Susan Hudson of Oregon; son, Michael Hudson of Toledo; stepchildren, Kim (Tim) Walsh of Woodville, Jon (Cathleen) Murray of Harrisburg, PA, Larry (Lucia) Murray of Dunmore, PA; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
