Lorraine Seeman, 82, of Toledo, OH, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014.
She was born on March 9, 1932, in Champaign, IL. She lived the majority of her life in Toledo where she graduated from Devilbis High School.
She expressed her love for people of all ages as a nursery school teacher, Gesu parish secretary, a business owner of Kelly Calls Answering Service, and a child care/senior care provider. She volunteered with the local Red Cross, at St. Rose parish, the local food bank, and Toledo area hospitals.
She had an incredibly giving heart as she willingly devoted her time and love to others. She was an avid parishioner at St. Rose church, where she expressed her love for her community as well as the Catholic faith. She was a loving mother, and grandmother who will certainly be missed by everyone who's lives she touched.
She is survived by her children, Amy (Bob) Burke and Peter (Margo) Eagle; grandchildren, Joseph, Dustin, Matthew, Kristin, Lauren, Katie, and Julie, and great-grandchildren, Joseph and Cassidy. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Eubank; son, Joel Seeman, and grandson, Erik Eagle.
A memorial mass to celebrate her life will be held on June 30, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, Perrysburg. Memorial donations may be given to St. Rose Catholic Church Youth Ministry program, or their St. Vincent de Paul Society, 215 E. Front St., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
