M. Donald "Don"
M. Donald "Don" Carmin, 80, of Rotonda West, Florida, and Ohio, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013, in Englewood, FL.
Born on November 14, 1932, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the only child of the late Lillian and Leslie Carmin, Don, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, was a successful and highly respected Defense Attorney in Judicial Defense and Trial Law with the Eastman & Smith Law firm of Toledo, Ohio, where he was a partner until his retirement in 1997. He was also a member of the Masonic Order.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 28 years, Anne, and four children: daughters, Christine (Greg) Taylor, and Tracy (Darrell) LaCourse, and sons, James "Jim" Carmin and David Weber; five grandchildren, and his loving Rescue Dog, Murphy. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his beloved canine and friend, Cody.
A Memorial Service celebrating Don's life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Roberson Funeral Home, 2151 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte, Florida.
