Marjorie H. (Donaldson)

Marjorie H. (Donaldson) Heaton was born in Pitcairn, PA, on December 22, 1919, to S. Edgar and Jane Donaldson (Cashdollar), and passed away September 21, 2013, at Bay Park Community Hospital. She was a graduate of Pitcairn High School and Grace Martin Secretarial School and worked at Westinghouse Electric in E. Pittsburgh, PA, for 7 years. She married Edward C. Heaton June 8, 1946, and moved to Toledo in 1963, where she was employed as a secretary at Washington Local Schools, retiring in 1980. Marjorie

enjoyed travel, knitting and especially playing cards. She was a member of Fairgreen Presbyterian Church. She was a 40+ year breast cancer survivor. All who knew her enjoyed her sense of humor.

Survived by her loving son, James (Lorie) Heaton; several nieces and nephews who were very close to her, even though none of them lived in the Toledo area, especially, Patricia Kubiek, Marcia Newhart, Beth Thorn, Martha Agona, and Edward Donaldson; close personal friend, Dorothy Meyer. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; parents; sister, Mildred J. Painter, and brother, James V. Donaldson.
