Robert Clayton
Robert Clayton Kemler, 86, of Toledo, Ohio passed away September 18, 2012, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Campus. Robert was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 30, 1926, to Ralph F. and Erma Vivian (Bennett) Kemler. Robert was an Army veteran of WWII, receiving the Purple Heart and Silver Star. Robert was a member of Local Plumbers & Pipefitters for 50 years.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Martha in 1992 and brother, Donald Kemler. Surviving is his daughter, Nancy Ann
Kemler; sister, Gloria
(Bernard) Thompson; brother, Raymond Kemler; grandchildren, Angela Tillman and Eirik Tillman, and great-grandchildren, Travis, Hunter, Gage Tillman, and Gavin McGranahan.
A private burial will take place in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd. at Byrne Rd. Please view and sign Robert's condolence book at

Though I can't say I ever met him that I know of, Robert was my grandpa's brother-in-law and I'm sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to the family.

Eirik and Angie you had a wonderful Grandma and Grandpa, may they rest in peace together now. Travis, Hunter, Gage and Gavin you were so lucky to have memories of a Great Grandpa, so few do. Remember, what is ours in memory will never be forgotten.
