Robert J. Kolacki, age 79, of south Toledo passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 10, 1933, in Detroit, MI to Louis and Mary (Jagodzinski) Kolacki. Bob attended Macomber High School and also attended University of Toledo. He was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Barbara "Bonnie" Thiel on February 1, 1957. Bob was a general sales manager for Booth Broadcasting/Cumulus Radio and sales for K-100 Radio Broadcasting for many years. He was also licensed in real estate. He was a long time active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, where he was a Cub Scout leader, Parish Council President, Chairman of Diocesan Development Fund. He was member of Cursillo, the OLPH Prayer Group and participated with family retreats and the marriage encounter program. He was also involved with Coats for Kids with K-100, Care and Share Program, took residents from NODC to Church and was active with the Manresa Retreat Center in Michigan. Bob enjoyed listening to classical music, fishing, golfing, bowling and working in the yard. In his later years he collected stamps and shared this interest with the children at Gesu School. Bob especially cherished spending time with his family and his grandchildren and will be dearly missed.

Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Barbara "Bonnie" Kolacki; children, Evan (Bobbie) Kolacki of Covington, GA, Mary (Michael) Ashbaucher of Temperance, MI, Douglas (Kristy) Kolacki of Toledo, Beth Kolacki of Toledo and Robert (Myra) Kolacki, Jr. of Muncie, IN; grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew, Chelsea, Zachary, Erinn, Andrew, Ethan and Dustin; great-grandchildren, Cale and Elizabeth. Also surviving are his sister, Lorraine (Lynn) DeRushia of Battle Creek, MI and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Florian Kolacki, and his sisters, Marie Cahill and Theresa Sevenish.

Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. a recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2255 Central Grove, Toledo, OH where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James Brown officiating. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery with full Military Honors conducted by Northwood VFW Post 2984. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Nancy, Cathy, Mary and Tammy from Grace Hospice for the professional care provided to Bob.
