Ronald L. Orlowski, age 56, of Toledo passed away peacefully on Friday, January 31, 2014, at home surrounded by his loving family. Ron was born on June 2, 1957, in Toledo, OH. Upon receiving certification in Law

Enforcement from the Ohio Peace Officer Academy, Captain Ron Orlowski was Captain and Commander of the Lucas County Sheriff Auxiliary and active with the Auxiliary for 35 years. A Union Steward with UAW Local 12, he was employed as a tool and die setter for the ACME Specialty Co. for 36 years,

retiring in May of 2013. Ron was a loving husband, father and Dzia Dzia to the grandkids, and a devoted family man. He enjoyed fishing and horseback riding at Howard's Stables and was an avid Ohio State fan. He was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Ottawa Lake, MI.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Barbara (Eddie) Orlowski; daughter, Jessica (Kyle) Scott; son, Nicholas Orlowski; grandchildren, Treyson and Kalleigh, and sister, Ann (Chester "Ted") Salow. He was preceded in death by his father, Clemens Orlowski; mother, Dorothy Demski Orlowski Buehler, and stepfather, Robert Buehler.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, February 2, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. Services will begin with prayers at the funeral home on Monday, at 9:45 a.m. and continue with the Funeral Service at Crossroads Community Church at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. John Clark presiding. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
