Wilfred "Bill" Frederick Petee, Jr., age 83, died peacefully on July 2, 2013. He was born September 22, 1929, to Wilfred and Lavina Petee in Toledo, Ohio. Bill was a dedicated family man, dropping out of school in the 7th grade to raise his brothers. He later went back to school and completed his education. Bill served in the United States Army during the Korean War, and was awarded a purple heart for his bravery.

He had a lifelong career in Insurance Sales with John Hancock Insurance Company. He married his sweetheart, Lillian Krolak, in 1955, and enjoyed a happy marriage until her death in 2009. Bill was a lifelong member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Surviving are his sons, Thomas (Amy) of Auburn, AL and Tim (Barbara) Petee of Perrysburg, OH; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth, Sean, Madeline, and Andrew; brothers, Barney (Ruth) and Chuck (Jesse) Petee and numerous nieces and nephews.
