Anastasia (Tish) Christine Andresen Tish Andresen, 71, of Lakewood, Washington, passed away September 28, 2013 in University Place, Washington after a short illness. Tish was born on February 18, 1942 in Los Angeles to Nicholas and Valeria Ivanoff. For 49 years she was the loving wife of her husband, David Andresen. She is survived by her husband, son Eric, four grandchildren, her brother George, and her large extended family. Tish graduated from Holy Names Academy and she had a bachelor's degree from Seattle University, an MLS from Catholic University, and a law degree from Seattle University. She worked many years as Children's Librarian for Boise Public Library, Head Librarian of Lakewood Library, and Public Services Librarian for the Pierce County Library System. She did graduate work in storytelling, and truly enjoyed reading stories to children. She was active in Tacoma Rotary Club No. 8, the Pierce County Arts Commission, and Lakewood Women in Business. After retirement she and her husband published numerous folktales from the peoples of Russia. Her passion was gardening and traveling with her husband. She treasured her family. Tish will be greatly missed by family and friends. A Mass service to her passing will be held at 11:00 A.M.
