Anne Elizabeth Heritage Was born July 16, 1938 in Portland, OR to Albert Weger and Ida Bush. She passed away at home on Dec. 29, 2013 after a short battle with colon cancer. She attended Tacoma schools until her senior year, when she left Stadium High School to live with her mother and graduated from Highline High School in 1956. She was a stay-at-home mom while her children were small. She enjoyed bowling, and being a Bluebird leader, room mother, and neighborhood chauffeur. She returned to work at Puget Sound Clinic as a receptionist, and later retired from Soundview Medical Clinic as head of the Billing Dept. Anne was a wonderful mother to her 3 children and best Grandma to each and every one of her 6 grandchildren. She is survived by daughter Kelly, grandsons Kenton and Konner Hotsko, son David (Susan), grandchildren Derek and Sarah Heritage, and son Marc (Heidi), grandchildren Spencer Heritage and Taylor (Shawn) Cowie, who is expecting Anne's first great-grandchild in March. A special thanks to former son-in-law Ken (Zoe) Hotsko and Franciscan Hospice staff, who all helped care for Anne and made her comfortable. Services will be held Jan. 18th, 2:30pm, at the VFW Post #10018, 4741 N. Baltimore, Tacoma. Her ashes will be scattered at Sunrise Beach next summer.
