Lloyd C. Reed Lloyd was born to Bridget Viola and Lloyd Charles Reed on January 20, 1926 in Tacoma, Washington, and peacefully passed away on January 12, 2013. A Bellarmine graduate, he served in the Air Force during World War II, and received his B.A. at Seattle University while pitching for the Redhawks. He started his career at Weyerhaeuser. After a number of years his job took him to California. He worked for a real estate development company up until the time of his retirement. He was able to enjoy his twilight years fishing in his favorite place; Long Branch. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marianne; his five children, Barbara Barkley, Dick Reed, Betsy Reed, Bridget Vecchiato, and Beverly Eredia; thirteen grand children and nine great grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Leo's Church in Tacoma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Franciscan Hospice House or The MultiCare Adult Day Health Center. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneycares.com.
