Lois Arlene Tucker Lois Arlene Tucker, 89, of Tacoma, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013. Born May 9, 1924, she was the oldest of five children born to parents Lars and Agnes Larson of Bristol, South Dakota. Lois and her family moved to Tacoma when Lois was 16 years old. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma and went on to study at the University of Washington. Lois married Roy E. Tucker in September 1949 and raised four children. Lois has been active in Tacoma her entire life, sharing her many talents and abilities. She served on committees and advisory boards with the Tacoma Orthopedic guilds, Tacoma Garden Club, and her lifelong church. She was an accomplished seamstress, musician, gardener, and painter which provided an outlet for her creative nature. Lois is survived by her four children, Sueann Spingola of Sun City, Arizona, Stephen Tucker of Lakewood, Karen (Phillip) Schneider of Spokane, and Mark (Kimberly) Tucker of Puyallup; eleven grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Roy Tucker; three brothers, Curtis, Orris, and Donald Larson; and sister Inez Allen. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 101 E 38th Street, Tacoma on December 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be directed to the
