Lori "Lunch" Joy Lori was born Nov. 3, 1952 to James and Jacquelynn Furlong in Chehalis, WA. She was such a joy to all and she loved life! Surviving Lori are her sisters Debbie Svedine and Michelle Ballard, mother Jacquelynn Furlong and husband Charley Joy, plus several nieces and nephews. She lost two siblings --Kathey McKissack and Jim Furlong and father James H. Furlong. She graduated from Franklin Pierce High School and the University of Washington. Lori was a smart, freckled faced red head who lost her courageous battle of 27 years to M.S. January 10, 2014. She was the strongest, loving, most determined woman you would ever meet. It was not her style to complain and always said she was "fine". As she struggled daily from the effects of M.S., her husband Charley Joy gallantly and unselfishly cared for her. Charley deserves all the thanks in the world for his perseverance and kindness he has shown toward Lori. Now, Lori, you are free from the physical restraints from M.S., let that beautiful spirit soar! And sweet Lori, wherever you are, rest in peace. We love you. Written by her loving family.
