Margaret (Peggy) Bal Peacefully entered Heaven and into the arms of Jesus on March 22, 2014. Peggy was a beautiful woman, full of grace, and she is fondly remembered by all those who knew her. She grew up on American Lake and attended Lake City School, Clover Park, and the University of Washington. As a lifelong-member of the Episcopal Church, some of Peggy's favorite times were spent in her prayer groups and participating in Daughters of the King. Her appreciation for the outdoors and volunteering were evident in her commitment to Girl Scouts. Her greatest love was for the Lord and for her family. Our father, Gene Bal, describes her as the "wind beneath his wings," as she supported him through his years in the Air Force and beyond. It was his dedication and faithfulness in caring for her that she said she depended on each and every day. She especially loved her six grandchildren, and described them as "tonic in her old age." Words cannot express how much she will be missed by her husband, family, and friends. Lovingly, her daughters - Janet Spingath, Lily Sherman, and Nancy Shaffer.
