KISTLER, Charles Michael, 66, died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at his home in Tucson, Arizona after a long illness. Charles joined the U.S. Marine Corps where he served in the Vietnam War as a member of the 1st 8" Howitzer Battery of the 3rd Marine Division. He retired from the Columbus Ohio Police Dept. and moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1991. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sheryl L. Kistler; daughter, Sundee (Eric) Zeller and granddaughter, Sedona; brothers, Gary (Ruth) Kistler and Robert (Diane) Kistler and brother-in-law, Phil (Helene) Ledford. There will be no funeral services, but instead an intimate family memorial will be held this week. We will remember Charles at a gathering on Memorial Day Weekend in Tucson, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the USO or to the . Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.
