Charles R. Regni 93, passed away peacefully July 21, 2013. He was born in Binghamton, New York on May 22, 1920. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances and son, Tom. He served his country in the Marine Corps from 1942-1946. In 1946, he married his wife, Frances, a registered nurse. From 1954-1959 he worked at IBM as an electrical draftsman. In 1960, Charlie and Fran made a big career move, and went into the restaurant business. They owned and operated "Regni's" restaurant until they retired and moved to Tucson in 1979. He is survived by his brother, Geno and son, Ron; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, with one on the way. Charlie was known for his love of family, music, cars, and his incredible work ethic. A Viewing and Scripture reading will take place at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2013. Mass will be offered, 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2013 at St. Francis de Sales Parish, 1375 S. Camino Seco. Burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
