Edwin Earl Slipher Flagstaff native and true good guy, Ed passed on November 7, 2013 after a bout with cancer. Born in Winslow July 26, 1952, he spent his final hours surrounded by family and numerous friends. Ed was one of the most affable and considerate people that most of us have ever known. He was an ASU EE graduate and spent 35+ years the semiconductor industry including National Semi in Tucson. Ed had a heart for those in need and was always looking for ways to bless friends and family. The list of those he touched is long and spans the globe. He was always surprising someone with a perfectly-timed phone call, sacks of groceries, or even a donated car. He is survived by loving parents Earl and Gloria Slipher of Flagstaff; brother, Les and sister-in-law, Terri of Cottonwood; daughter, Jessica Wilson and husband Kiel of Prarieville, LA and nephews, Christopher, Mark, and Stephen. and loyal mutt Mo. Join his Life Celebration at 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2013. Elk's Lodge 2110 N. San Francisco, Flagstaff. Memorials may be sent to all-volunteer free Poore Medical Clinic, 120 W. Fine.
